Welcome to the Psychology Community 👋

It's brilliant to see so many new faces here this year. If you're new, this post is for you, but everyone, this is worth a read too.

What this space is

This community exists for you to ask questions, share resources, and get the help you actually need. We're here to figure things out together, whether that's clarifying content, working through exam technique, or just needing to talk through something that hasn't clicked.

I'm always checking in. If you're struggling with something, please share it here. That's exactly what this group is for. You're never the first person to find something tricky, and you won't be the last, but when you name it, everyone learns from it.

What you'll hear about first

Any masterclasses, courses, or revision resources I create will land here first. Keep an eye on the group so you don't miss them.

A-Level Results Day!

Slowly getting back to everyone's emails regarding results day!

It has been so great to hear such positive results from so many of you, and I am excited to see what the next chapter brings for you all!

To anyone who has not had the best of days...please do not worry! These grades do not define you, and there is a reason clearing exists. Sometimes you have to change direction, and that is okay ❤️

If anyone has any questions or wants to discuss their options, please reach out!

Advice!

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for advice, but firstly I want to say congrats to all the year 13's! Some of the questions in paper 3 looked tough so I bet you are all happy it is over!

I was wondering if any year 13's had any advice for the year 12's? Like what do you wish you had known in year 12 that would have made it easier in year 13? Thanks in advance 🙏

This is a really great question, Liliana!

I hope some year 13's will be able to offer you some wisdom, although many are still finishing exams!

I would say those students who had spent the time in year 12 ensuring that they had all the notes and started chipping away at questions and essay writting have really benefited! That's what I would prioritise just making sure everything from this year is all good then you are ready for the next year!

Year 13's...Can I let you in on a little secret?

Every year, when we get to Paper 3, my inbox fills up with messages saying:

❓ "I haven't revised enough."

❓ "I spent more time on Paper 1 and Paper 2."

❓ "I feel much less prepared for this one."

And every year, students assume they're the only one feeling like that.
