ABOUT
My name is Georgie, and I am a dedicated and passionate tutor with 5+ years of experience in online teaching for Maths (GCSE) and Psychology (A-Level). I have worked with both independent students and schools, tailoring lessons to meet individual needs. My mission is to ignite the spark of inspiration in each of my students as they embark on their unique learning journeys.

HOW MY STUDIES SHAPE MY TUTORING
I hold a First Class Honours degree in Criminology (BSc) from the University of Southampton and a Master’s in Political Psychology (MA) from Bournemouth University, awarded with Merit. My academic journey reflects my passion for understanding people — how they think, behave, and interact with the world and that’s exactly what I bring into my tutoring every day.
During my undergraduate studies, I explored the complexities of rape culture, policing and social media, analysing how victims and offenders are judged and portrayed online. For my Master’s, I examined how prominent Republican politicians use rhetoric to mobilise fear in America, applying psychodynamic theory to uncover the unconscious drivers behind political behaviour. This deep dive into human behaviour, critical thinking and research underpins my approach to teaching, helping students tackle complex ideas with curiosity and confidence.

My tutoring journey began in the final year of my undergraduate degree in 2020. Starting with GCSE Maths, I supported private clients and worked with schools across two online platforms to help students achieve their goals and grow in confidence. I quickly incorporated A-Level Psychology, tying closely to my specialist knowledge.
When the pandemic struck, I worked with the National Tutoring Programme to help students stay on track during home learning and prepare for exams when schools reopened. Covid disrupted so many students’ education, and I’m proud that I could play a part in minimising that impact for hundreds of learners nationwide.
After nearly four years, I stepped away from national platforms to focus on delivering high-quality, fully personalised lessons under my own service. My passion for tutoring continues to grow, and I’ve now supported over 150 students in A-Level Psychology and GCSE Maths, each with their own unique goals and journey.

MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
At the heart of my teaching philosophy is a commitment to clear goal-setting and truly personalised learning. Whether your aim is to achieve top grades or build confidence in a challenging subject, every session is tailored to you.
Together, we break down complex ideas, tackle examples step-by-step, and practise independent tasks to ensure deep understanding and lasting confidence. My lessons are designed to unlock your potential — each one building your knowledge, boosting your self-belief, and sparking a genuine love for learning.
I believe in open feedback, regular progress checks, and working closely with both students and parents to make sure every lesson really makes a difference.

BEYOND TUTORING

Outside of tutoring, I am proud to help run the Jude Morris Racing Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to creating sporting opportunities for young athletes. The Foundation was set up in memory of my brother, Jude, one of the UK’s most promising motocross riders, to continue his legacy of passion, determination, and sportsmanship.
Through the Foundation, we actively support and develop the next generation of young riders by providing mentoring, training, funding, and essential resources to help them progress in the competitive world of motorsport. Since 2021, we have supported over 40 talented riders, from grassroots to national level, opening doors that would otherwise be out of reach.

Each year, we donate 20% of all funds raised to Air Ambulances UK, a vital service that saves countless lives and holds a special place in our hearts. To date, the Foundation has raised over £114,500 for Air Ambulances UK, directly helping crews and critical care teams across the country.
As part of our partnership, Air Ambulances UK established the Jude Morris Innovation and Development Fund, which allows air ambulance charities to apply for grants of up to £10,000. This fund is committed to saving even more lives, improving patient outcomes, and driving forward innovative clinical and operational developments.
Through the Jude Morris Racing Foundation, we will continue to honour Jude’s legacy by supporting young riders, championing innovation, and giving back to the life-saving services that were there for him.
