YEAR 13 IS A LOT TO MANAGE ALONE
THE CHALLENGE
Most students fall somewhere between passive independent revision and reactive 1:1 tuition, neither of which provides the consistent, structured backbone that Year 13 actually demands. The Study Club fills that gap, live expert teaching, twice a week, every week, from a specialist who knows the spec, knows the exam, and knows what your child needs to improve.
Complex Content Across All Papers
The AQA specification is vast. Without expert guidance it's hard to know what to prioritise, how topics connect, or how to consolidate effectively.
Research Methods On Every Paper
It appears in every form on every paper. Students who aren't confident here lose marks across the entire exam, not just in the Research Methods section on paper 2.
Exam Technique Makes Or Breaks Grades
Students can know their content and still underperform. AO2 application and AO3 evaluation need targeted, consistent practice, not just more revision.

EVERY SESSION HAS A PURPOSE

WHAT MAKES THE STUDY CLUB DIFFERENT
THIS IS NOT LIKE A TRADITIONAL CLASSROOM
For students who worry about being put on the spot...
I get this. I used to be you. Being put on the spot in lessons filled me with dread, and it took away my ability to actually listen. All I could think about was whether I'd be called on next. Because of my own experience, I don't cold call on students. Full stop. You won't be put on the spot in the Study Club. I do encourage interaction because talking through ideas is how learning happens. But you choose how. Ask through the chat. Answer through the chat. Participate in the community space anonymously. Or email me to discuss one-to-one. You're never forced to perform. Your learning comes first.
For students balancing other commitments...
Sessions are 2–3 nights a week, and I know that's a lot when you've got other stuff going on. I've had students competing in European championships whilst working with me, so I understand that real life takes priority. That's why every session is recorded. If Tuesday doesn't work because of a competition, training, or anything else, you watch when you have time. You're not behind if you miss one, you just catch up. And I track who's reviewed the content, so if I notice someone's slipped, I check in and help them catch up.
For parents worried their child will get lost in a group...
I know group settings can feel impersonal, especially when your child needs support. That's not how I work. Every student matters to me, I interact with each person throughout the session, not just at feedback points. I track individual progress throughout the year, stay on top of who's keeping up, who needs extra support, and who's making real progress. I communicate regularly with my students so I understand their individual journey, not just their grades. That's why I always encourage an initial call before students join, I want to know who they are, what they're working towards, and what support actually looks like for them specifically. In the Study Club, you're not a number in a group. You're someone I'm invested in getting to the finish line.

STUDENT & PARENT REVIEWS
FEEDBACK THAT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF
My daughter started with Georgie in October after struggling with the jump to a-level psychology. We have been so impressed by Georgie's tuition, she is focused, knowledgable and incredibly organised.
My daughter was really struggling with writing essay responses and worried about remembering all the content needed for these. Georgie helped build her evaluation skills by leveraging the content she already knew from other areas, rather than pushing more points and content.
My daughter is so relieved to have found a tutor who recognises the volume of content in A-levels and instead of pushing them to learn more and do more, focuses on utilising their knowledge in the best way.
Highly recommend Georgie!

PSYCHOLOGY A-LEVEL (PARENT)
Georgie has been tutoring my son for his final year of A levels and I feel we have been so lucky to find such an excellent tutor. My son found the lessons themselves, well structured, enjoyable, but challenging too. She is organised, on top of content, flexible and hitting the top tier of tutors. She has put together an excellent package of Masterclasses as further topic support for her students. She opened up her calendar for extra lessons closer to the exams which were straightforward to book and to check her availability. I would highly recommend Georgie as a tutor. Your child will be in super capable hands.
