THE PSYCHOLOGY STUDY CLUB

These Terms & Conditions apply to all students and parents/guardians subscribing to the GeorgieMTutoring Study Club. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms in full.

These terms should be read alongside the GeorgieMTutoring General Policies document, which covers safeguarding, data protection, the Code of Conduct, and intellectual property.

1. About the Study Club

The GeorgieMTutoring Study Club is a monthly subscription service designed to support AQA A-Level Psychology students with structured revision, exam technique, and ongoing academic development.

The Study Club is primarily aimed at Year 13 A-Level Psychology students. Year 12 students are welcome to join at their own discretion; however, content is predominantly pitched at Year 13 level and exam preparation. GeorgieMTutoring accepts no responsibility where Year 12 students find the content level unsuitable.

Each subscription includes access to the following:

  • Live teaching sessions delivered online via Google Meet

  • A resource library containing recordings of past sessions from the current academic year only

  • An online community space where members can interact and collaborate

  • Optional Accelerator add-on (see Section 6)

Live sessions must be booked by the student in advance via the membership portal. Sessions are not automatically assigned. It is the student’s responsibility to book their place before each session. Failure to book does not entitle the student to a make-up session or refund.

2. Eligibility

  • The Study Club is open to all students studying AQA A-Level Psychology.

  • It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian and student to confirm that the student is studying the AQA specification before subscribing. GeorgieMTutoring cannot accept responsibility where a subscription is taken out by a student on a different exam board.

  • Year 12 students may join at their own discretion. By subscribing, Year 12 students and their parents/guardians acknowledge that content is primarily designed for Year 13 exam preparation.

3. Subscription and Payment

3.1 Billing

  • The Study Club operates on a monthly rolling subscription basis.

  • Payment is due at the point of subscription and on the same date each subsequent month.

  • All payments are processed securely via the GeorgieMTutoring website, which is hosted on Wix.

  • Subscriptions must be paid in full to maintain active access. If payment fails, access to the Study Club may be suspended until payment is resolved.

3.2 One Subscription Per Student

  • Each subscription is for individual use by one named student only.

  • Subscriptions may not be shared between students, households, or any other individuals.

  • Sharing login credentials or subscription access is a breach of these Terms and will result in immediate cancellation without refund.

4. Cancellation Policy

Students may cancel their Study Club subscription at any time, subject to the following conditions:

  • Cancellations must be made via the membership portal on the GeorgieMTutoring website.

  • Cancellation requests submitted by email, social media, or any other channel will not be accepted and will not be processed.

  • Upon cancellation, the subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds will be issued for unused days within a billing period.

  • At the end of the billing cycle, the student’s access to all Study Club content will be removed immediately. This includes the resource library, past session recordings, live session bookings, community spaces, and any Accelerator content.

  • It is the student’s responsibility to download or save any personal notes or work before cancellation takes effect. GeorgieMTutoring cannot restore access once a subscription has ended.

5. Resource Library and Content Access

  • The resource library contains recordings and materials from live sessions delivered during the current academic year only.

  • Content from previous academic years is not retained in the library and will not be made available upon request.

  • All resources are for the personal educational use of the subscribing student only. Resources must not be shared, distributed, forwarded, or made available to any individual who does not hold an active subscription.

  • Sharing resources outside of the Study Club is a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate cancellation without refund.

  • All content remains the intellectual property of GeorgieMTutoring. Students may not reproduce, publish, or use materials for commercial purposes.

6. Community Spaces

As part of the Study Club subscription, students will be added to one or more online community spaces. By subscribing, students and parents/guardians acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • The student’s name will be visible to other members within the community space.

  • Students may choose to leave the community space at any time without affecting their subscription. Leaving the community space does not constitute cancellation of the subscription.

  • Students are expected to communicate respectfully and professionally within the community at all times, in line with the Student Code of Conduct.

  • GeorgieMTutoring reserves the right to remove a student from the community space if their conduct is deemed inappropriate, without refund.

7. Accelerator Add-On

7.1 What Is the Accelerator?

The Accelerator is an optional add-on available to Study Club subscribers. It provides an enhanced programme of support and includes the following:

  • A bi-weekly live exam toolkit masterclass, delivered online via Google Meet

  • An optional work submission opportunity in the weeks between masterclasses (see Section 7.2)

Accelerator masterclasses must be booked by the student in advance via the membership portal. It is the student’s responsibility to secure their place. Failure to book does not entitle the student to a make-up session or refund.

7.2 Accelerator Submissions Policy

In the weeks between Accelerator masterclasses, students will be given the opportunity to submit work for feedback. The following conditions apply:

  • Each submission opportunity will be issued with a clearly stated deadline, including both a date and a time.

  • Submissions received after the stated deadline cannot be guaranteed to receive feedback. GeorgieMTutoring reserves the right to decline marking of late submissions.

  • Accelerator submissions are entirely optional. Students are not required to submit work and will not be chased for submissions.

  • Where a student does not submit work by the deadline, this will be recorded as a non-submission. Non-submissions do not affect the student’s subscription or standing within the Study Club.

  • Feedback provided on submissions is for educational purposes only. It does not constitute a guarantee of any particular grade or outcome.

  • Submitted work remains the student’s own and will not be shared with other students or third parties.

8. No Guaranteed Grade Outcomes

The Study Club, including all live sessions, resources, community spaces, and the Accelerator add-on, is designed to support and enhance a student’s revision and exam preparation. However, GeorgieMTutoring makes no guarantee of any specific grade, academic outcome, or examination result.

Progress is dependent on individual effort, engagement, and a range of factors outside GeorgieMTutoring’s control. By subscribing, students and parents/guardians acknowledge this.

9. Conduct and Removal

All Study Club members are expected to behave in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct. GeorgieMTutoring reserves the right to remove a student from the Study Club immediately, without refund, in the following circumstances:

  • Sharing subscription access or resources with non-members

  • Behaviour that is abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate toward GeorgieMTutoring or other members

  • Any conduct that breaches these Terms or the Student Code of Conduct

10. Intellectual Property

All content produced and delivered through the GeorgieMTutoring Study Club — including but not limited to live session recordings, resources, slides, worksheets, and written feedback — remains the intellectual property of GeorgieMTutoring.

Students may not reproduce, share, distribute, sell, or publish any Study Club materials without prior written permission from GeorgieMTutoring.

11. Changes to the Study Club

GeorgieMTutoring reserves the right to make changes to the Study Club offering, including session scheduling, content, and pricing. Where material changes are made, existing subscribers will be notified via email with a minimum of 14 days’ notice.

If a subscriber does not wish to continue under revised terms, they may cancel their subscription via the membership portal before the changes take effect.

12. Data and Privacy

Personal information collected as part of the Study Club subscription is handled in accordance with the GeorgieMTutoring Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. Students’ names will be visible to other members within community spaces, as outlined in Section 6.

For full details on how personal data is collected, stored, and used, please refer to the GeorgieMTutoring Privacy Policy available at www.georgiemtutoring.co.uk.

13. Agreement

By subscribing to the GeorgieMTutoring Study Club, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full. If you are subscribing on behalf of a student under the age of 18, you confirm that you are the student’s parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.
