MASTERCLASS TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to all students and parents/guardians booking or attending any Maths or Psychology Masterclass provided by GeorgieMTutoring. By booking a place on a masterclass, you agree to the following terms in full.

These terms should be read alongside our General Policies document, which covers safeguarding, data protection, the Code of Conduct, and intellectual property.

1. Booking & Payment

  • All masterclasses must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

  • A place is only secured once payment has been successfully received.

  • Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Non-Refundable Policy

All masterclass bookings are strictly non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to, absence due to illness, timetable clashes, technical issues, or change of circumstances. If you are unable to attend, your place cannot be transferred to another date or student unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Right to Cancel — Important Notice

All masterclasses are advertised and scheduled for a specific date and time. By completing your booking, you explicitly acknowledge this and waive your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, on the basis that the service is booked for a fixed date and time.

By ticking the confirmation box at the point of booking, you confirm that you have read and understood this waiver.

3. Minimum Numbers

Each masterclass requires a minimum of three (3) students to go ahead. If this minimum is not met, you will be offered either:

  • A full refund, or

  • A transfer to another suitable masterclass date.

4. Access & Attendance

  • Masterclasses are delivered online unless otherwise stated.

  • Students are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and a suitable device. A laptop or tablet is strongly recommended.

  • Login details and joining instructions will be sent prior to the session.

  • It is the student's responsibility to arrive on time. Late arrivals may miss important content and no catch-up or refunds will be provided.

5. Session Content

  • Masterclasses focus on exam skills, content application, and technique relevant to GCSE Maths or A-Level Psychology.

  • While sessions are designed to support progress and confidence, no specific grade outcomes are guaranteed.

  • Materials may include slides, worksheets, model answers, and activities for personal educational use only.

6. Use of Materials

All masterclass resources remain the intellectual property of GeorgieMTutoring. Students may not share, reproduce, distribute, or sell any materials without prior written permission.

7. Behaviour & Conduct

Students are expected to behave respectfully and appropriately at all times. Disruptive behaviour, inappropriate language, or misuse of the chat, microphone, or video functions may result in removal from the session without refund.

8. Technical Issues

GeorgieMTutoring is not responsible for technical problems caused by the student's device, software, internet connection, or environment. No refunds or replays are offered for missed content due to individual technical difficulties.

9. Cancellation by GeorgieMTutoring

In the unlikely event that a masterclass must be cancelled by GeorgieMTutoring, students will be offered either:

  • A full refund, or

  • A transfer to a rescheduled session.

10. Recording of Sessions

Masterclasses may be recorded for educational and quality purposes. Whether participants will receive access to the recording will be clearly stated on the individual masterclass booking page. By attending, you consent to being part of a recorded session.

All recordings are stored securely and handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

11. Suitability

It is the responsibility of the parent/student to ensure the masterclass is appropriate for the student's exam board and level (e.g. AQA A-Level Psychology, GCSE Maths Higher/Foundation). This information is clearly stated on the individual masterclass booking page. GeorgieMTutoring cannot accept responsibility for bookings made for an unsuitable exam board or level where this information has been provided.

12. Removal from a Masterclass

GeorgieMTutoring reserves the right to remove a student from a masterclass session immediately in the following circumstances:

  • Serious or repeated breach of the behaviour expectations outlined in Clause 7.

  • Behaviour that is abusive, threatening, or inappropriate toward the tutor or other participants.

  • Circumstances that compromise the safeguarding or welfare of any party.

No refund will be issued where removal is due to the student's conduct.

13. Data & Privacy

Personal information is handled in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. It will only be used for communication relating to your booking and learning. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

14. Changes to Terms

GeorgieMTutoring reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated via email prior to future bookings. It is the responsibility of the client to review these Terms before booking.

15. Agreement

By completing a booking for a masterclass, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full, including the waiver of your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
